Bonacci has led the rebuilding of the Mayo Clinic primary care practices in Albert Lea and Austin. Bonacci served as a Family Medicine consultant for the past 21 years at Mayo Clinic, and led the Family Medicine Residency from 2010 to 2019 through a major overhaul of the training program. He and his wife, Kerrie, interviewed in Montrose after residency but ultimately decided to begin their careers at Mayo Clinic.ĭr. After earning his BA from Kenyon College, he attended Emory’s Physician Assistant Program followed by medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. He received his BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah in 2004, graduated from LECOM for Medical school in 2009, Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2012. The body’s ability to regulate and literally heal itself, the interrelationship of structure and function, and the use of manipulative treatment in the total care of the patient are the “backbone” of his philosophy.
